EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Three UW-Eau Claire Athletics teams were in action today, men's golf hosting the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invite while the other two were on the road.
Soccer
Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.) 2, UW-Eau Claire 0
In the first of four-straight road games, the women's soccer team lost 2-0 to 16th-ranked Concordia-Moorhead here today at the Jake Christiansen Athletic Complex. Concordia scored at 4:22 on a goal by Rochelle Hickerson giving the Cobbers an early 1-0 lead. Hickerson struck again in the second half scoring her second goal at 76:04 extending the Cobber lead to 2-0. Tara Dennehy led the Blugolds with two shots.
Men's Golf
Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invite - T-5th of 14
After round one of the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invitational at Eau Claire Golf & Country Club, the men's golf team is tied for fifth place with 309 strokes. Bethel University (Minn.) leads the field with 295 strokes. Brady Hanson had the best finish for the Blugolds for round one with 76 strokes, tied for 14th place.

ITA Tournament & Gustie Fall Invite
The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team concluded competition at the ITA Regional and Gustie Fall Invite on Sunday at Gibbs Tennis Courts on the Gustavus Adolphus College campus.
