EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's volleyball team was the only team in action today, competing on the road.
After dropping the first set of a non-conference match against the University of Northwestern-St. Paul (Minn.), the volleyball team won the next three to beat the Eagles 3-1 in the Ericksen Center tonight. Northwestern won the first set 25-19 but the Blugolds won the following three 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.
The Blugolds outhit the Eagles .295-.244 with 64 kills compared to 61 for Northwestern. Four Blugolds reached double-digit kill totals with Katrina Raskie leading the way with 17.
