EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Two UW-Eau Claire Athletics teams were in action today, men's golf and men's tennis, both on the road.

Men's Golf

Gustavus Adolphus Twin Cities Classic - 9th of 19

After round two of the Twin Cities Classic at the Links at Northfork in Ramsey, Minn., the Blugolds moved up two spots from day one into ninth place with 608 strokes. They improved eight strokes over their day one total. Leading the Blugolds after the second round is Patrick Conroy, tied for 19th place with 150 strokes. The tournament will wrap up Monday at Dellwood Country Club in Dellwood, Minn.

ITA Tournament

The men's tennis team started the 2014-15 season competing at the ITA Regional and Midwest Open hosted here today at Gibbs Tennis Courts on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College. Several Blugolds had impressive showings in the Midwest Open in singles and doubles action.
