  • Swim and Dive Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Awards

    RICHMOND, Va. (www.blugolds.com) - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected 718 teams to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2023 semester. Of the 700+ Division I, II, III, and NAIA teams selected, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams were awarded the educational achievement for their hard work in the classroom while competing.
  • Blugolds place 37th in LEARFIELD Director's Cup

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire placed 37th in the 2022-23 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup among Division III competitors. The Blugolds finished in the upper echelon of a competition which featured 323 schools.
  • Kabe, Weaver wrap up seasons at NCAA Championships

    GREENSBORO, N.C. (blugolds.com) — The season wrapped up for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's swimming and diving teams with the final day of the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday. Quincy Kabe (Jr. - Buffalo, Minn.) took 21st in the men's three-meter diving competition, and Ella Weaver (Jr. - McFarland, Wis.) placed 34th in the women's 200-yard breaststroke.

    GREENSBORO, N.C. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire had two representatives compete on the third day of the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday. Ella Weaver (Jr. - McFarland, Wis.) swam in the women's 100-yard breaststroke, and Sarah Dahlk (Sr. - Verona, Wis./Middleton) closed out her season with the women's one-meter diving competition.
  • Kabe earns second team All-America status at nationals

    GREENSBORO, N.C. (blugolds.com) — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire diver Quincy Kabe (Jr. - Buffalo, Minn.) secured second team All-America status during the second day of the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday. Kabe placed 15th in the men's one-meter diving competition to become a second team All-American.

    GREENSBORO, N.C. (blugolds.com) — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire diver Sarah Dahlk (Sr. - Verona, Wis./Middleton) opened up the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday with the women's three-meter diving competition. Dahlk placed 27th in the preliminary round.

  • Blugold women win 1st WIAC title since 1999, men take 2nd

(blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's swimming and diving team clinched its first Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) championship since 1999 on Saturday. The Blugolds scored 901 points to win the 20th conference title in program history.

(blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams picked up right where they left off at Day 2 of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship on Thursday. Kadin Denner (So. - Aurora, Colo.) set a new school record to earn a conference title in the men's 500-yard freestyle, highlighting a day which saw the Blugold men and women combine to win six events and surge to the top of the standings.

Sarah Dahlk (Sr. - Verona, Wis./Middleton) won the women's three-meter diving championship, and both the men's and women's 800-yard freestyle relays picked up titles on the opening day of competition.

Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota. The men's 400-yard medley relay team earned the top finish for the Blugolds, placing second in the event.

Men's swimmer Sam Ryf (Sr. - Berlin, Wis.), women's hockey forward Hallie Sheridan (Sr. - Fergus Falls, Minn.) and indoor field athlete Mitch Stegeman (Sr. - Coleman, Wis./Suring) were all recognized for their achievements.

    WHITEWATER, Wis. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming teams traveled to UW-Whitewater for the last conference dual of the season. The Blugolds had a clean sweep with the women winning 187-59 and the men winning 201-52.

    STEVENS POINT, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's diving teams competed at the UW-Stevens Point Invite on Friday and Saturday. The Blugolds swept the top two spots in the men's competition and achieved NCAA Zone cuts in the process, and also produced the women's winner.

(blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire swimming and diving teams returned to the pool on Saturday after more than a month had elapsed since their last competitions. The women fell to St. Catherine University 165-129 at the McPhee Center, while the men got a tuneup with an intersquad meet.

  • Blugold Men Produce Victors, But Fall Short to St. Cloud State

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against St. Cloud State on Thursday and Friday at the McPhee Center. The Blugolds won several events in both duals, but ultimately fell when the final scores were tallied. The women were bested 135-106, and the men fell 136.5-104.5.

    STEVENS POINT, Wis. (blugolds.com) the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams traveled to UW-Stevens Point for their second conference meet of the year. Both the mens and women’s teams secured the wins against the tough pointer competition. The women won with a score of 185-15, while the men won 189-111.

    OSHKOSH, Wis. (blugolds.com)-- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams had their first competition of the year on the road against WIAC opponent UW-Oshkosh. Both the men’s and women’s teams had statement wins winning 193-38 and 185-45.
