  • ALL-AMERICANS, CONFERENCE POYs LEAD HALL OF FAME CLASS OF 2023

    The UW-Eau Claire Blugold Hall of Fame Class of 2023 includes three conference players of the year, three first-, second- or third-team All-Americans, three WIAC All-Centennial picks, one member of a national championship team, four players who played in three or four consecutive NCAA championships, two players who played on the winningest team in their sport's history and two coaches who coached a national champion. The new class includes softball players Casey Leisgang and Sarah Weinke Murphy, women's basketball player Michelle Burns O'Connell, soccer player Anna Talbot Willkom, golfer and golf coach Meghan Sobotta Murphy and gymnastics coach Jean DeLisle.
  • Blugolds place 37th in LEARFIELD Director's Cup

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire placed 37th in the 2022-23 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup among Division III competitors. The Blugolds finished in the upper echelon of a competition which featured 323 schools.

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnast Tia Ravara (Jr. - San Leandro, Calif./Bishop O'Dowd) has been named a Regional Athlete of the Year by the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association.
  • Ravara wins NCGA all around national championship

    WINONA, Minn. (blugolds.com) — For the fifth time in program history, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics team has a national champion. Tia Ravara (Jr. - San Leandro, Calif./Bishop O'Dowd) won the all around national title at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships on Saturday to become the first Blugold champion since 2012.
  • Gymnastics Competes at WIAC Championship & NCGA West Regional

    OSHKOSH, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s gymnastics team competed at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship and the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional on Saturday. The Blugolds finished in 7th place and had six athletes place in the top-15 during their respective events.
  • Longtime coach DeLisle named to NCGA Hall of Fame

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — Former University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics coach Jean DeLisle has been named to the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2023. DeLisle will be inducted at a banquet ceremony on March 24, 2023, in conjunction with the NCGA Division III national championships.
  • Blugolds Battle with Titans on the Road

    OSHKOSH, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s gymnastics team headed to Eastern Wisconsin for another Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) dual against UW-Oshkosh. Five Blugolds earned top-five scores in their events for the Blugolds during their final dual of the season.

(blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s gymnastics team was back on the road Friday evening for a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) dual with Hamline University. The Blugolds had ten athletes finish the evening with top-3 finishes leading them to a 184.95-182.475 victory.

The Blugolds set a program record on the beam with three personal records and a team score of 47.850.

(blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics team returned to Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) action on Friday evening as they hosted the Gustavus Adolphus College Gusties in their second home dual of the year. The Blugolds had ten athletes earn a top-3 finish in their respective events as they earned their second win of the season, 184.850-183.750.
  • Four Blugolds named WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week

    MADISON, Wis. (blugolds.com) — Four student-athletes from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire received WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Jan. 16-22. Gymnast Harriet Toth (So. - Regina, Saskatchewan/Martin), field athletes Yakob Ekoue (Sr. - Hopkins, Minn.) and Catie Fobbe (Sr. - Annandale, Minn./Maple Lake) and diver Sarah Dahlk (Sr. - Verona, Wis./Middleton) were all recognized for standout performances.

    DENTON, Texas. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics team traveled south for a nonconference quadrangular on Friday as they competed against Texas Women’s University, Air Force, and Centenary College. Despite placing fourth, the Blugolds recorded a season high in total points with a 185.600.
  • Gymnastics Posts Season Highs in Win over Simpson

    DES MOINES, Iowa. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics team hit the road for the first time this season as they traveled to Des Moines, Iowa for the Chow’s Winter Classic. The Blugolds faced off against the Simpson College Thunder and earned their first win of the season, 183.575-180.150.

(blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics team held their season opener at the McPhee Physical Education Center gymnasium on Tuesday evening as they hosted UW-Stout. The Blugolds had seven athletes finish with top five placements in their respective events as they fell to the Blue Devils, 178.675-186.150.
