Brandon Stephenson Named NCHA Player of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire men's hockey goalie Brandon Stephenson (Jr.-Saline, Mich.) has been named this week's Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week, conference sports information director Brian Monahan announced today.

Stephenson helped the Blugolds to split this weekend with St. Scholastica. He stopped 33 shots Friday as the Blugolds beat the Saints 5-1 and saved 26 shots Saturday in a 2-1 loss. Stephenson has 91 saves in four games for the Blugolds this season and has a save percentage of .919. His record on the season is 2-2.
