Women's Soccer earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Women's Soccer team has received the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for their hard work in the classroom during 2019-20 academic year.

The Blugolds were one of the 562 women's teams to receive the reward with their cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.35. UW-Eau Claire was also one of the five Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools to earn the award along with UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Whitewater.

This marks the 17th season the Blugolds have collected this award (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020).

College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2019-20 academic year.
