EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's golf teams both competed on the final day of tournaments in Minnesota today.
Women's Golf
The women's golf team moved up three spots from the first day to finish in seventh place out of 16 teams at the Division III Midwest Classic at The Jewel Golf Club today. Emily Stone led Eau Claire with 163 strokes to tie for eighth place.
Men's Golf
The men's golf team tied for third place out of 23 teams following two rounds of competition at the 2013 Saint John's Fall Invitational. The Blugolds shot 304 on day one and 298 on day two to finish with a total of 602 strokes, tying with the University of Manitoba. Four Blugolds tied for 14th place or better with Jake Erickson leading the way, tying for sixth place with 148 strokes.
