EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Competing in front of a large crowd, the UW-Eau Claire volleyball team opened up its home schedule tonight against Viterbo University.
While the match went to the 15th-ranked V-Hawks 3-0, the Blugolds fought hard to end the third set but came up just short 27-25. They fell in the first two sets 25-15 and 25-19.
The crowd of over 1,000 in McPhee was one of the best attended volleyball matches in the history of the program.
