Lueck records top Division III time at Iowa State Classic

AMES, Iowa (Blugolds.com) – University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Kyler Lueck (Sr. – Germantown, WI/Wisconsin Lutheran) competed at the Iowa State Classic on Friday, placing sixth in the open 800-meter run.

Running in one of the top NCAA Division I indoor meets in the country, Lueck was the only Division III athlete competing at the meet and made himself known, as the senior clocked in at 1:50.05, placing sixth out of 47 at the meet and notched the top time in all of Division III.

The Blugolds will travel to UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, Feb. 22 for their final meet before the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships on Feb. 28-29.
