Track & Field competes at UWSP's Big Dawg Invite

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire track and field teams competed at UW-Stevens Point's Big Dawg Invite on Saturday, with the men placing fourth and the women fifth.

Results 

Eau Claire finished in the top three in eleven events. Leading the Blugold women were:

2nd place:

Lizzy Keena (Jr. – Wisconsin Rapids, WI/Lincoln) – 400m (1:01.29)

Allison Weiker (So. – Roseville, MN) – pole vault (3.47m, 11-3.75)

Ashley Agrimson (Jr. – Peterson, MN/Rushford-Peterson) – long jump (4.86m, 18-01)

3rd place:

Rosalie Campbell (Jr. – Germantown, WI) – 400m (1:01.55)

Karli Olsen (Jr. – Blue Earth, MN) – 800m (2:20.26)

Jillian Moss (Jr. – Fitchburg, WI/Oregon) – high jump (1.48m, 5-01)

Top Blugold men:

1st place:

Chris Anderson (Sister Bay, WI/Gibraltar) – weight throw (17.64m, 57-10.5)

2nd place:

Jordan Lijewski (So. – Roseville, MN) – 400m (51.38)

3rd place:

 Aaron Wahl (Fr. – White Bear Lake, MN) , Ethan Stashek (Fr. – Weston, WI/DC Everest), Matthew Miller (Fr. – Lake Elmo, MN/Stillwater), Kevin Eisenzimmer (Fr. – Mineral Point, WI) – 4x400m relay (2:26.30)

Liam Kenney (Fr. – Fennimore, WI) – high jump (1.87m, 6-05)

Alex Boehlen (Fr. Neenah, WI) – shot put (16.20m, 53-.75)

The Blugolds will be back in action Friday, February 14th as they compete at the St. Thomas Invite in St. Paul, Minn.
