Kussow, Stange Earn All-Region Honors

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team has two honorees on the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region Teams this season. Defender Kiki Kussow (Sr. - Green Bay, Wis./Notre Dame) and forward Emma Stange (Sr. - Andover, Minn./Anoka) both earned spots on the All-Region IX second team.

USC Division III All-Region Teams

Kussow was an All-WIAC selection for the third consecutive season this fall. Kussow spearheaded a Blugolds defense which limited opponents to an average of 0.91 goals per contest. She started all 21 games for UW-Eau Claire and helped the team post nine shutouts, and also had an assist.

Stange also earned a spot on the All-WIAC team for a third straight season. She ranked second on the team with 19 points after a year in which she scored six goals and assisted seven others. She netted a pair of game-winning goals for the Blugolds.

UW-Eau Claire finished the season 13-6-2 and reached the championship game of the WIAC Tournament.
