Soccer Receives NSCAA Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's soccer team was recently honored with a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award.

The award was presented to teams finishing with a 3.0 GPA or better during the 2010-11 season. A total of 792 teams were named recipients, including 220 men's and 572 women's teams.

The Blugolds earned the award after finishing with a 3.26 GPA.

Around the WIAC, UW-Stevens Point (3.11), UW-Superior (3.07) and UW-Whitewater (3.14) also received recognition.
