The first matchup showed similar results to the Blugolds' regular season finale against the Titans. In their doubles action, UWEC won all three sets in dominant fashion. Lindsey Henderson (Jr. - Prior Lake, MN) and Elaine Franta (So. - White Bear Lake, MN) won at the No. 1 spot, 8-2. Morgan Nelson (Fr. – Beaver Dam, WI) and Natalie Girard (Jr. - Kenosha, WI/St. Joseph) completed their second consecutive sweep at No. 3 doubles winning 8-0.

After only losing 12 games in doubles, the Blugolds continued their momentum into the singles matches outscoring their opponents, 73 games to 13. Alexa Brooks (Beaver Dam, WI) and Sydney Presler (So. – Eau Claire, WI/Altoona) both cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins in their matches.

In the semifinals, UW-Eau Claire's momentum would come to a halt after dropping all three doubles matches. Emily Cooper (Sr. – White Bear, MN) and Presler would triumph in their singles matches for the team, but the Eagles would seal the victory with wins at No. 1 and 2 singles.

The Blugolds finish their season with an overall record of 10-5 and a regular season conference record of 5-1 under head coach Brian Biernat in his first season.
