WBCA Release

The Blugolds soared high with a team cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.738 and finished 9th overall amongst the 443 active Division III women's basketball teams to compete in the NCAA this year. This marks the third time (2016-17, 2017-18, 2019-20) in the past five years that the team has finished in the Top 10 in all of Division III. The Blugolds also ranked in the Top 25 of all Division I, II, and III teams this year and were the only Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) team listed this year.

Eau Claire finished the season with a record of 18-10 (10-4 WIAC) and finished tied for 2nd place in the WIAC. The Blugolds won their opening and semifinal final rounds of the WIAC Championship Tournament, but fell to UW-Oshkosh in the finals.
