Swim and Dive dominates Oshkosh

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire swimming and diving teams swept UW-Oshkosh in their first home dual of the season, with the women winning by a score of 165.5-76.5 and the men by a score of 170-71.

Results

The UWEC women and men won 9 events a piece, and In addition, diver Dylan Glumac-Berberich (Jr. – Fridley, MN) earned an NCAA zone cut on both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives and broke his own school record on the 3 meter.

"I am so proud of how this group has been training and how they competed as a team." Said Head Coach Annie Ryder. "Many of our freshman stepped up today and contributed to the team in a big way. We haven't started off swimming this fast in many years and today was a great start to the season. Today was also a good indication of what we still need to improve and are ready to get back to work in the pool and on the boards this week."

Next up for the Blugolds is a dual match at Luther College on October 26.
