MADISON, Wis. (blugolds.com)- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Jessie Ruden has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 17 - 23.

WIAC Release

Ruden led the Blugolds to two conference wins during the week. In the two games, she averaged 18.5 points per game, shooting 44.8 percent (13-29). Ruden scored a career high in an 81-71 win over No. 6-ranked UW-Whitewater on Jan. 22, with 29 points going 4-9 from the three-point line. She also grabbed five rebounds and distributed four assists. Against UW-River Falls on Jan. 19, she tallied eight points with four rebounds, four steals and two assists in a 62-49 victory.
