MADISON, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Jessie Ruden (Jr. - Rochester, MN/John Marshall) and Hanna Zavoral (Sr. - St. Paul, MN/Highland Park) have been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 22 - 28.

Jessie Ruden - Point Guard
The junior point guard led the Blugolds to a 3-0 week by defeating #6 ranked Simpson in addition to wins against St. Norberts and Edgewood. Ruden had a career high of 26 points against St. Norbert, going 8 for 13 from the 3-point arc and shooting at 61.5%. Ruden averaged 19 ppg, 33 minutes per game, and shot 100% from the FT line. Ruden was also named to the Gundersen Hotel & Suites Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament Team.
Hannah Zavoral - Forward
Zavoral had two goals in three games, including the OT game-winner on Saturday vs. Lake Forest. The Blugolds are now ranked #2 in the country, according to USCHO.com, and beat Hamline who is receiving votes. The senior forward has helped this successful Blugold offense move to a record of 10-0.
