RICHMOND, Va. (www.blugolds.com) - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected 718 teams to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2023 semester. Of the 700+ Division I, II, III, and NAIA teams selected, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams were awarded the educational achievement for their hard work in the classroom while competing.
While both teams dominated the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) with 4-0 dual records, the women captured the program's first WIAC championship since 1999 while posting a team 3.62 grade point average (GPA). The men finished second at the WIAC Championships and recorded a team GPA of 3.33.
Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2023 team grade point averages and represent 17,497 student-athletes.
