Dahlk places 27th to open NCAA Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. (blugolds.com) — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire diver Sarah Dahlk (Sr. - Verona, Wis./Middleton) opened up the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday with the women's three-meter diving competition. Dahlk placed 27th in the preliminary round.

Results

Dahlk scored a 331.50 on the three-meter board, which was not quite enough to advance to the finals or the consolation finals on Wednesday night. She will continue competing at nationals with the one-meter competition on Friday. Prelims begin at 10 a.m. Eastern, with the finals slated for 6 p.m. Eastern.

The Blugolds will also be represented on Days 2 and 4 of the championships. Diver Quincy Kabe (Jr. - Buffalo, Minn.) competes in the men's one-meter competition on Thursday and the three-meter on Saturday. Swimmer Ella Weaver (Jr. - McFarland, Wis.) competes in the women's 100-yard breaststroke on Friday and the 200-yard breaststroke on Saturday.
