EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics, swimming & diving, and wrestling teams have released their schedules for the 2022-23 season.

The women's gymnastics team will see another successful season under Jessie DeZiel in her second year at UW-Eau Claire. The team will perforam at the McPhee Physical Education Ceneter three times in 2023. Their home opener is set for Tuesday, January 10th, 2023, against conference opponent UW-Stout. The Blugolds will travel to Denton, Texas competing against Centenary, Air Force, and TWU on Friday, January 20th. The team is ready for aother competitive season within the WIAC and National Collegiate Gymnastics Association West Regional.
The men's and women's swimming and diving squads are back in the pool starting in October. After both teams had successful seasons in 2022-23 sending multiple atheltes to the NCAA Championships, the Blugolds will kick things off on the road against UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, October 15th at 1PM. Their first home meet of the year will take place Saturday, Novemeber 5th, against UW-Lacrosse. In 2022 both teams were WIAC Championship runners-up and had dominant wins against WIAC and nonconference opponents.
The Blugold wrestling team made historic strides last season. The squad tabbed the WIAC Newcomer of the Year and 2021-22 Senior, Chase Schmidt, placed third at the NCAA Divison 3 wrestlting championships. UW-Eau Claire will travel to WIAC opponent, UW-Stevens Point, on Tuesday, November 1st to begin their year. The Chancellors Cup will be hosted on Thursday, Novemeber 17th against UW-Oshkosh for the first home meet in the Mcphee Physical Education Center. The 8-Man Battles is scheduled for Saturday, Novemeber 19th with compeiting teams from Cornell, St. Johns, Augustana, and Buena Vista. The team has the Don Parker Open on the calendar for Saturday February 4th in thre Mcphee Physcial Education Center. The WIAC Championships will be hosted by UW-Stevens Pointt Saturday, February 11th.
