Kabe, Weaver wrap up seasons at NCAA Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. (blugolds.com) — The season wrapped up for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's swimming and diving teams with the final day of the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday. Quincy Kabe (Jr. - Buffalo, Minn.) took 21st in the men's three-meter diving competition, and Ella Weaver (Jr. - McFarland, Wis.) placed 34th in the women's 200-yard breaststroke.

Results

Kabe scored a 387.50 on the three-meter board to finish 21st. He earned second team All-America status on the one-meter board a couple of days prior.

Weaver clocked in at 2:22.72 in the 200 breaststroke, good for 34th. She previously took 24th in the 100 breaststroke on Friday.

The 2022-23 season was a successful one for the Blugolds, seeing the women win the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title and the men produce an All-American and several individual conference champions.
