In tonight's game, the Blugolds jumped out to the initial lead as Kristin Faber (Sr.-Austin, Minn.) scored, unassisted, at 6:58 in the second period. Just over 11 minutes later, Lake Forest's Rosy Fujimoto tied the game up at 1-1. While the game went into overtime, neither team could find the back of the net and the game ended at one apiece.

The Blugolds committed a season-high nine penalties but Lake Forest was able to convert on just one of them. The Foresters had just three penalties.

Not only was the score even at the end of 65 minutes of play, but the teams also finished with identical shot totals, with each team coming away with 26.

Mara Stormer (So.-Waunakee, Wis.) played the entire night in-goal and stopped 25 shots. She is now 5-1-3 on the season.

Tomorrow the teams will face each other again with a game at 2 p.m. at Hobbs Ice Center.
