Husted, Turner Earn First Team All-WIAC Honors

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – Defenseman Andi Husted (Sr.-Scottsdale, AZ/Shattuck St. Mary's) and Paige Turner (Jr.-Iron River, WI/Duluth East) earned first team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honors while forward Paige Dale (So.-Andover, MN) received honorable mention recognition in an announcement made by Assistant Commissioner of Media Relations Matt Stanek.

Husted earned first team All-WIAC honors for the first time in her career producing single season records of three goals and five assists.  Husted ranked 11th in the WIAC in defenseman scoring.  Husted concluded her career for the Blugolds playing in 103 games tying her for ninth on the school's all-time list.  Husted was featured this season in the WIAC Student-Athlete Spotlight.  Husted was also named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team which is awarded to individuals who displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season.

Turner received first team All-WIAC honors after receiving honorable mention accolades last season. Turner ranked second in the WIAC in saves (669) and save percentage (.910).  Turner set a single-season school record averaging 35.2 shots per game while finishing second in single-season saves with 669.  For her career Turner ranks first among Blugold goalies in saves (1,982) and saves per game (32.5).

Dale received honorable mention honors leading the Blugolds in points (14), goals (11) power play goals (2) and empty net goals (2).  Among WIAC statistical leaders Dale ranked ninth in goals, 14th in power play goals and 16th in power play points (5) and game winning goals (2).  Dale's 11 goals ties Lauren Havard (2005-06) tying her for 12th on the school's all-time single season goal scoring list.
