Grace Fair Leads Women's Swimming & Diving at UW-Whitewater

WHITEWATER, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – Grace Fair (Sr.-Monticello, Minn.) won two events as the UW-Eau Claire women's swimming & diving team competed at UW-Whitewater today.

Fair took first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.52 seconds and also won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.41 seconds.

Eau Claire also had nine runner-up finishes today.

Amanda Baker (Fr.-Hudson, Wis.) led the Blugold divers as she took second in both the one and three-meter events. She scored 246.14 in the three-meter and 237.60 in the one-meter.

The Warhawks won the meet 155-88.

Next up for the Blugolds is the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship, which will be contested Feb. 14-16 at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wis.
