ST. PETER, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's swimming and diving team fell in a dual meet to host Gustavus Adolphus College 200-100 here today at the Lund Center.
Amanda Baker (Jr.-Hudson, WI) swept both diving events winning the one-meter and three-meter diving events with scores of 270.6 and 293.1 points respectively. Kate French (Jr.-Hartland, WI/Arrowhead) earned second place in both events scoring 242.25 points in the one-meter and 247.2 points in the three-meter dive.
Lisa Reed (Sr.-Duluth, MN/East) won the 1000 Freestyle recording a time of 11:04.55. Reed also finished second in the 500 Freestyle in 5:27.28. Maddie Gray (Jr.-Roseville, MN) finished second in the 100 and 200 Backstroke with times of 1:02.3 and 2:14.04 respectively.
Up next the Blugolds travel to La Crosse where they will compete against UW-La Crosse in a WIAC dual meet. Action will take place on Saturday, November 8 starting at 1 p.m.
