Swimming & Diving Finishes 4th at WIAC Meet

BROWN DEER, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the third and final day of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Meet Saturday with both teams finishing fourth.

Results 

Lisa Reed (Sr. Duluth, MN) was second in the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 17:27.87.

Jake McDade (Sr. Monona, WI) was second in the 1650 yard freestyle with a time of 16:20.64.

Thomas Hensen (So. Delafield, WI)took third in the 200 yard backstroke, clocking in at 1:51.83 while teammate Dayton Miller (Fr. Rochester, MN) was second in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:07.79.

Ryan Young (So. Lakeville, MN)came in second in the 200 yard butterfly at 1:53.18.

In diving, Amanda Baker (Jr. Hudson, WI) was second in the 1 and 3 meter dive, scoring a 454.40 and 459.55, respectively. Sara Axness (Jr. Eau Claire, WI) was third in the 3 meter dive with a score of 453.25.
