EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire hockey teams will be hosting the Semifinals of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships (presented by Culver's) on Friday and Saturday, February 28th-29th. The women will play UW-Stevens Point and the men will play UW-Superior. All four games will take place at Hobbs Ice Center.

The Blugold women are seeded first and will face the Pointers at 3 p.m. in Game 1 and 2 p.m. in Game 2. The Blugold men are seeded second and face the fifth-seeded Yellowjackets at 7 p.m. both nights.
Tickets are available to purchase ahead of time either online or at the UWEC Service Center (77 Roosevelt Ave., 715-836-4636). Tickets will also be sold at the door starting one hour before each contest.
Fans who have reserved seat season passes have the first opportunity to purchase their seat(s) for $12 for both games. These seats will be held until game time and any seats that have not been purchased will be opened to the public.
Other ticket prices are as follows and allow entry to both games:
- $12 for reserved seat (season pass holders get first chance to purchase, unsold tickets at game time are open to public)
- $8 for general admission adult, UWEC Faculty/Staff
- $6 for senior citizen
- $4 for youth
- $3 for college students
