LAST MEETING BETWEEN THE TEAMS
Platteville recorded a 35-14 win to end the Blugolds' five-game win streak over the Pioneers. Both teams found the end zone late in the first quarter, but Platteville controlled the game with three touchdowns in the second. Eau Claire halted the Pioneers' 28-point scoring streak with a Joel Sweeney touchdown in the third quarter, but couldn't make a comeback.
