(Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire baseball hosted their final regular season Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) doubleheader on Saturday as they took on the UW-La Crosse Eagles out at Carson Park. After a late rally by the Eagles in game one, the Blugolds returned the favor in game two with a game winning sacrifice fly from Matt Melendez (Fr. – River Grove, IL) to split the doubleheader series 5-10 and 8-7.

(Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau baseball team started their final regular season Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) doubleheader series on Friday as they hosted UW- La Crosse. The Blugolds and Eagles combined for 11 homeruns during the day as the teams split doubleheader with a UWEC 9-6 win in game one and a 7-14 defeat in game two.

(Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau baseball team held a makeup afternoon doubleheader on Tuesday as they hosted Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) opponents, Finlandia University (Mich.). The Blugolds scored a season high 26 runs in game one and scored at least one run in every inning in game two to sweep the Finlandia Lions in just fourteen total innings, 26-2 and 16-4 on the day.

    STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau baseball team wrapped up their weekend doubleheader series with UW-Stevens Point on Sunday. Two more terrific starts by Eau Claire were trounced by late inning runs by UWSP as the Blugolds dropped both games on the afternoon, 14-5 and 11-5.

With plenty of offense between both teams in both games, history repeated itself in dramatic fashion in game two as Drew Salyers (Fr. – Centennial, CO/Arapahoe) hit a two-run walk off double in the bottom of the ninth to split the final doubleheader series with Whitewater, 3-11 and 12-11.

After dropping game one 16-1 in seven innings, UW-Eau Claire fell behind an early to a Whitewater lead that never wavered In game two for a 13-0 final in seven innings.

(Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire baseball team began Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play on Tuesday with an afternoon doubleheader against UW-Oshkosh in Ashwaubenon, Wis. After falling in a close game 1, Matt Moore (So. – Stillwater, MN) and the Blugolds bounced back with a 3-0 win in game two for the program’s first complete game shutout since being reinstated in 2020.
