The freshmen, seeded first in the event, won with a time of 1:01.09, nearly half a second better than the second place finisher. While it is Senczyszyn's first national title, it is her third All-American honor in as many days. The finish also maintained the team's position in eighth place with 102 points.

On Saturday the Blugolds will complete in the final day of the championships. Senczyszyn will complete in the 200-yard breaststroke where she again is the number one seed as she set the NCAA Division III record in the event a month ago.

Allie Hable (Sr.-Ankeny, IA) will also complete in the 100-yard freestyle, Jessica Short (So.-Grafton, WI) in the 200-yard backstroke and the 400-yard freestyle relay team.
