EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's swimming and diving team held their first home dual Friday, with the Blugolds falling to Minnesota State-Mankato, 174-126.
Samantha Senczyszyn won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:07.85; along with winning the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:12.59.Teammate Hannah Sisto won the 100 and 200-yard butterfly, clocking in at1:01.93 and 2:16.27, respectively.
Kate French took top honors in the 1 and 3-meter dives, recording a final score of 229.35 and 243.80.
Allie Hable recorded a time of 56.64 to take first in the 100-yard freestyle while Sara Tainter clocked in at 2:39.78 in the 200-yard breaststroke to win the event.
Next up for the Blugolds is the St. Cloud Triangular and Dive Meet on Saturday, Oct. 24 in St. Cloud, Minn.
