Jean DeLisle Claims WIAC Women's Gymnastics Coach of the Year Honor

MADISON, Wis.(Blugolds.com) - For the second consecutive season, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Jean DeLisle has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Gymnastics Coach of the Year based on voting by the league coaches.

DeLisle claimed the honor for the fourth time in her career after leading the Blugolds to a third-place finish at the WIAC Championship/National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional for the second straight year. UW-Eau Claire earned a team spot in the NCGA Championship that will be hosted by UW-Whitewater March 22-23.

She previously was named WIAC Coach of the Year in 1995-96 when she coached at UW-River Falls and most recently earned the honor during the 2011-12 season while also being selected for the 2005-06 season.
