DeLisle Chosen WIAC Women's Gymnastics Coach of the Year

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire head coach Jean DeLisle has been selected the 2012 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women's Gymnastics Coach of the Year based on a voting by the league coaches.

DeLisle, in her ninth year with the Blugolds, earned the honor for the third time in her career after directing the Blugolds to a third-place finish at the WIAC championship and a team spot in the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association championship that will be held March 23-24 in Brockport, N.Y.

She previously was named WIAC Coach of the Year in 1995-96 when she coached at UW-River Falls and most recently earned the honor during the 2005-06 season.
