VICTORIA, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team is in ninth place after the first round of play at the Royal Match, hosted by Bethel University at the Deer Run Golf Club.

Results

Katie Moore (Jr.-Woodbury, MN) led the way on Saturday, tying for 29th with an 84. Molly Lattery (So.-Poplar, WI/Northwestern) and Hallie Hancock (Fr.-Eau Claire, WI/North) are tied for 41st after shooting an 88 while  Allison Chomniak (Fr.-Pewaukee, WI/Arrowhead) is 44th with an 89.

The Blugolds will complete in the second and final round on Sunday.
