Women's Golf in 3rd After Day 1 of Mad Dawg Invite

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team sits in third place after day one of the Mad Dawg Invitational hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Day One Results

The Blugolds turned in a team score of 351 (+59) with Allison Chomniak (Fr.-Pewaukee, WI/Arrowhead) leading the way with an 85 (+12); putting her in a tie for fifth place. Katie Moore (Jr.-Woodbury, MN) followed with an 87 (+14) and is tied for eighth place.

The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh leads the field with a team score of 329 (+37) with Kayla Priebe on top of the leader board with a score of 78 (+5).

The Blugolds will complete round two of the tournament on Sunday.
