This year's tournament marks the 20th gathering of league teams with the winner decided over 54 holes. The top squad will also earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championship that will be held May 10-13, 2016, in Houston, Texas.

The Blugolds, who own a conference-high nine championships, will be led by Allison Chomniak (FR.-Pewakuee, WI/Arrowhead) who has finished in the top 10 at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational, The Georgianni Memorial Blugold Invite, and the Mad Dawg Invitational. So far this season Chomniak has averaged a score 84.8. Following Chomniak's strong play, Katie Moore (JR.-Woodbury, MN/Woodbury) has averaged a respectable score of 85.5 throughout the 2015 season.

"Our team's expectations are to definitely bring home the conference title," said head coach Mike Greer. "We have seen all of our conference rivals during regular season play and feel very confident that if we bring our game, we will reach our goal."

According to Greer, the team had a great practice round two weeks ago and believes their focus will be a key to success.  Chomniak agrees.

"As a team, we are working our butt off in practice to find a good tempo for this weekend and get our games into the best spot possible," said Chomniak. "Mentally, we are getting focused and ready to get in the competitive zone come Friday morning."

Although Chomniak is the Blugold's leader statistically, Coach Greer says he expects his more experienced players to be leaders for the younger players when it comes to controlling the emotions and pressure of competing for a conference title.

Chomniak echoed her head coach and the Blugold motto.

"As a team, we know that we have the ability to go all the way," said Chomniak. "We plan to only focus on what we can control and not worry about anything else. If we do that then we will reach our goals and expectations."
