Catherine Wagner Named WIAC Athlete of the Week

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire women's golfer Catherine Wagner (Jr.-Austin, Minn.) has been named a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Athlete of the Week, WIAC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Matt Stanek announced today.

Wagner captured medalist honors, helping guide the Blugolds to a second-place finish at the Southwest Minnesota State University Mustang Invitational.  She finished with 144 strokes for the tournament, an even score, and had 70 strokes on day two, the lowest single-day total of the event.
