SPRINGFIELD, Ohio. (blugolds.com) -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team traveled to Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio to compete in the Wittenberg Classic. After the second and final day, the Blugolds finished in third place with a score of 610.
Eau Claire took home third place trailing behind the home team of Wittenberg University. The Blugolds had three golfers place in the top 20 for their individual scores.
Cole Jahnke (Sr.-Stillwater, MN) stayed solid in third place scoring 147 over 36 rounds of golf. Corey Boerner(Jr.-Bloomington, MN) put up a score of 153 which placed him 15th overall. The final Blugold to make the top 20 was Connor Brown(Sr.-Racine, WI) scoring 154 over the two rounds.
Eau Claire wrapped up their fall season this weekend at the Wittenberg Classic. The Blugolds will return to the links this spring for more action.
