LAKE GENEVA, Wis. (blugolds.com) --The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team traveled to the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin to compete in the UW-Stout Invitational. After day one the Blugolds sit in first place with a team score of 291 after one round of play,
The Blugolds had a successful first day on the greens with two golfers sitting in the top five after the first round. Cole Jahnke (Sr.-Stillwater, WI) is sitting in a tie for second place after going two under on the day with a score of 69. Only one stroke behind in fourth place is Connor Brown (Sr.-Racine, WI) putting up a score of 70.
The team will return Tomorrow, October 3rd for the final day of play in the UW-Stout Invitational.
