EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team hosted the Frank Wrigglesworth Invitational September 18th and 19th at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club. The Blugolds finished strong in first place scoring 587 over two rounds.
Carson Brock (Jr.-Onalaska, WI) lead the pack going +3 over two rounds with an overall score of 145 while taking first place overall. Connor Brown (Sr.-Racine, WI) was one point away from first scoring 146 over two rounds taking second place. Close behind Cole Janke (Sr.-Stillwater, MN) went +5 with a score of 147 which put him in fourth place overall. The Blugolds dominated with seven golfers finishing in the top 15 at the invitational.
Eau Claire will travel to Greensboro, North Carolina on September 25th and 26th to compete in the Gate City Invite. The Invite will be hosted by Greensboro College at Startmount Forrest Country Club.
