LA CROSSE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's track and field team took fourth out of 9 teams at the Ashton May Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse on Friday scoring 56 points.
The 4 x 400 meter relay team of Brooke Patterson, Jess Rupnow, Kim Drewiske and Calla Karl took first place clocking in with a winning time of 4:07.40 to lead the Blugolds.
Lucy Ramquist came in second in the 1500 meter run, posting a time of 4:40.38 while Sam Anderson was third in the hammer throw with a toss of 156-10.
The Blugolds next meet will be the UW-Platteville Invitational on April 10-11.
