Two Blugolds finish 8th at Pete Willson Invite

WHEATON, Ill. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire wrestling team finished in 25th place at the Pete Willson Invitational on Saturday, with two wrestlers finishing eighth.

Jake Drexler (Fr. – Stratford, WI) took eighth place at 141 to score 11 points for the Blugolds while James Huntley (So. – Woodbury, MN/Stillwater) scored 7.5 points with his eighth place finish at 197.

Drexler was 4-3 for the tournament, recording 3 pins and a win by decision. Huntley also finished with a record of 4-3 with one win by major decision and three by decision.

Toby Mosley (Sr. – Sparta, WI also tallied four points for the Blugolds, finishing with a record of 3-2 at 174.
