Wrestling Falls at No. 1-Ranked St. Cloud State

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire wrestling team came away with one match victory facing NCAA Division II and No. 1-ranked St. Cloud State (Minn.) tonight. The Huskies finished with a 41-3 win overall.

Ryan Seidler (Jr.-Adams, Wis./Adams-Friendship) had the Blugolds' lone victory, wrestling at 149 pounds. He won with a 3-1 decision over St. Cloud's Josh Howk.

The win for the Huskies improved their record to 14-0 overall while the Blugolds fall to 4-12. St. Cloud was the national runner-up in Division II a season ago.

The Blugolds will be at UW-Whitewater's Border Brawl Duals this Saturday. Wrestling will get underway at noon.
