Jen Miller-McEachern Selected as NCGA Executive Director

MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) announced today the selection of Jen Miller-McEachern as the association's first ever executive director effective  August 1, 2013.

Miller-McEachern brings extensive experience to the position having served previously as the head women's gymnastics coach at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and in her current administrative role at MIT. Miller-McEachern received her Bachelor's Degree and participated in women's gymnastics at Springfield College and coached at both the high school and club levels prior to joining the MIT coaching staff in 2004.  She is on track to earn herMaster's Degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University in September.  

"The NCGA is extremely fortunate to have someone with Jen's expertise, background and credibility fill this position.  Jen's familiarity with the NCGA as well as her extensive contacts within the women's gymnastics community should prove to be of great benefit to the associationas it embarks on this new era for women's gymnastics", commented WIAC Commissioner Gary Karner who coordinated the selection process on behalf of the NCGA.

The NCGA is comprised of 14 institutions competing at the NCAA Division III level in the sportof women's gymnastics to include:  Gustavus Adolphus College, Hamline University, Ithaca College, Rhode Island College, Springfield College, SUNY-Brockport, SUNY-Cortland, Ursinus College, Winona State University, UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Stout and UW-Whitewater.
