CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – (blugolds.com) The Women's Golf Coaches Association has announced the first 2020-21 student-athlete and coaches awards for Division III Women's Collegiate Golf, including WGCA All-American Teams, WGCA All-Region Teams and the Golf Pride WGCA Regional Coaches of the Year. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Lexi Meade (So. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) was named to the Midwest All-Region Team.
Meade led the Blugolds all year with multiple top-3 finishes. In the Carthage Spring Invitational, Meade shot a meet best 83 and tied for first. She would continue her success with a low round of 76 during the UWEC/UWRF Invitational. Meade's low round of 76 helped her claim 2nd place in the invite.
Lexi shot her career best round during the Bethel University Battle of the Creek with a 75 on day 1. Meade finished the meet 3rd overall with the lowest combined score of all the Blugolds.
Meade is the 25th Blugold to earn All-Region status.
