SUPERIOR, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - In anticipation of poor weather on Sunday, UW-Superior has announced that the softball doubleheader between the Yellowjackets and UW-Eau Claire has been rescheduled. The games originally scheduled for April 22 beginning at 1:00 p.m. will now be played on Monday, April 23 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Liebaert Field.
"The weather isn't looking like it will be conducive to softball on Sunday, so we made the decision ahead of time to reschedule for Monday," athletics director Steve Nelson said. "Monday looks like it will be a much better day for softball, so both coaches are on board with the decision."
