CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Led by two finishers of the top three in the race, the UW-Eau Claire men's cross country team placed four runners in the top 10 at the Lake Wissota Invitational, hosted by the Blugolds.
Jordan Rathke (So.-Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port) took second place with a time of 26:54 over the course of 8,000-meters.
Rathke's teammate Matt Cyra (Fr.-Eagle, Wis./Mukwonago) finished right behind, crossing the line in 26:55 to notch third place.
Ryan Graham (Fr.-Maple Grove, Minn.) took seventh place in a time of 27:42 and Emilio Taiveaho (Winona, Minn./Cotter) grabbed ninth place in 27:49.
Up next for the Blugolds is the WIAC Championship next Saturday at UW-River Falls. The gun is scheduled to go off at 1 p.m.
