MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire men's indoor track & field 4x400-meter relay team has been selected as this week's Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Athlete of the Week, WIAC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Matt Stanek announced today.

Competing on the relay team were Cody Prince (Jr.-Appleton, Wis./North), Will LaJeunesse (So.-Belle Plaine, Minn.), Jimmy Paske (Fr.-Minnetonka, Minn./Hopkins) and Thurgood Dennis (Jr.-Allouez, Wis./Green Bay Notre Dame).

Running at the Eastbay Invitational at UW-Stevens Point on Feb. 22 where the Blugolds took third place, the 4x400-meter relay team took the top spot with a time of 3:17.58, the fastest time in the NCAA Division III this season.
