EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire placed 37th in the 2022-23 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup among Division III competitors. The Blugolds finished in the upper echelon of a competition which featured 323 schools.
The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup is an all-sports competition. The Blugolds' various programs tallied a total of 467.5 points over the course of the academic year. UW-Eau Claire earned 97.50 points in the fall, 205.50 in the winter and 164.50 in the spring. Points are awarded based on finishes at the national championships.
The 37th-place finish continued a strong run in the competition for the Blugolds, who have earned a spot in the top 40 in every year but one since the Division III Directors' Cup was founded in 1995.
